Letter from OUR FOUNDER
Welcome
Welcome to Optego! We're proud to have served the eye care community since 1995. As an ophthalmologist, I clearly understood the need for a company that could supply eye care professionals with all necessities in a ‘one-stop-shop', and so, Optego (originally called Eye Care and Cure) was formed in Tucson, Arizona, USA.
Our Motto
We focus on providing the highest quality products and the best customer service so that you can focus on your patients. We continue to strive to be the “one-stop-shop” for all your eye care supplies and are committed to providing new and innovative products that enhance patient care and outcomes.
PRODUCT INNOVATION
Initially, product distribution was the main focus of our business. Later on, engineering, product design and manufacturing activities were added.
Optego is now a ISO 9001 certified company, ensuring a reliable and consistent manufacturing process and product quality.
Product Portfolio
Our product portfolio includes well-known proprietary products such as the Phake-i Surgical Practice Eye, the EpiGlare glare tester and Optego Fresnel stick-on Prisms using our ClearPrisms Technology. Other product categories include Occluders, Eye Shields, Post-Mydriatic Spectacles, and Confirmation Flippers.
GROWTH
Today, Optego has grown into an international company, with offices in the U.S. and Singapore. Our management and engineering teams has been expanded and now also include the next generation of family members: Lindy and Marsha van Dalen.
